Here's my new to me 1988 Suzuki Samurai JX 4X4. Lived all it's life in North Carolina. Currently has 111,000 miles and almost completely stock. Soon to be my daily driver and overland vehicle. Original 1.3L 4 cylinder engine. 5 Speed transmission. I'll be taking more photo's soon.
The body is almost near perfect, no rust thus far. The original engine has a few common issues. Starting the engine in the morning, she idles rough till warm up. Then smooth. Another issue, the engine leaks oil. After cleaning the engine and running for a bit, the leak seems to be coming from the front of the engine.
I've taken the radiator, fan and timing belt cover off to get a better view of the area. My next step is to install new front camshaft and main shaft seals. The timing belt seems to be fairly new, as does the water pump.
